Host Focusmate Group Sessions

Group Sessions bring the Focusmate coworking experience to a group of up to 8 participants. A designated Host (e.g. You!) guides the group, facilitating a check-in at the start and a check-out at the end.

Focusmate profile completion checklist

People are excited to book and join sessions when they know a little about who's leading the group. Please take a look and make sure your Focusmate profile has both:

A clear profile photo with your face

A little about you: some of your profile questions filled in, a few profile tags added

Technical readiness checklist

I have a stable, high-speed internet connection

I have a quiet, well-lit space where I can host sessions

My computer can easily handle group video calls without slowing down or crashing

Community and Safety checklist

I understand that Focusmate Group Sessions aren't a place to promote my business or brand

I understand that hosting is not financially compensated

I've reviewed my Focusmate Blocked list to make sure only people I really want to Block are excluded from the sessions I host (Blocked list: https://app.focusmate.com/blocked)

3. Your hosting style 🌻

We’d love to see a quick ~1-minute video of you starting a Group Session as a Host. Here's a suggested script: - Introduce yourself - Welcome 'participants' to the session - Offer a quick overview of the session (eg: morning routine, deep desk work session, chores)

Just be yourself and don't worry about professional-grade video production—we want to see that your space is well-lit and we can hear you clearly!
